Hester often dreams of running away with gypsies and her dreams intensify at the manor. The house is full of decadant fantasy and mysterious rooms. Vidor holds secret parties for guests who have very pointed teeth and wear masks.
Hester discovers that there is a dark side to the gothic manor, and though she may live out her most depraved fantasies, there is a price to pay.
